Ajibade Savours Falconets’ First Win At 2018 U-20 Women’s World Cup Vs Haiti

Super Falconets forward Rasheedat Ajibade is in cloud nine after seeing the team record their first win at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup against Haiti on Thursday.

The Nigerian girls bounced back from the defeat against Germany in their first game to beat the Haitians 1-0.

Ajibade scored the winning goal from the penalty spot in the 36th minute

Chris Danjuma’s team will face China in their final Group D game on Monday and need just a draw to progress into the quarter-finals.

Germany who beat China 2-0 in the other Group D game top the group with six points. Nigeria and China occupy second and third spot respectively while Haiti sit in the last position in the group.
