A picture of Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan being admitted at a hospital in Equatorial Guinea following a bout with malaria has been released.
The Al Ain forward was hospitalized at local medical facility in Mongomo and was ruled out of the 2-1 defeat to Senegal.
Gyan is expected to be fit for Friday’s crucial match against Algeria at the same venue.
