The Black Stars beat hosts Equatorial Guinea 3-0 on Thursday night despite crowd troubles to set up a tantalizing grand finale against the very good Ivorian side on Sunday in Bata.

Ghana recovered from a disastrous start to their campaign to make it this far in the competition.

They now have to win one game against a tough opponent in Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday to end an over three-decade wait for an African Cup crown.

“Yes of course [about Ghana being ready for the finals],” Boye told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“That is why we won today. If we weren’t ready [for the finals] we wouldn’t have won this game.”

Ghana last played Ivory Coast in the 1992 final and lost on penalties in Senegal.
