Ghana coach Avram Grant has described his side’s final against Ivory Coast as a battle ahead of the game on Sunday.

The Black Stars reached their first AFCON finals since 2010 with an emphatic 3-0 win against Equatorial Guinea.

Avram Grant side have shown remarkable development since their opening day defeat to Senegal.

They have racked up ten goals on route to the final, the highest by any team in the competition.

Their newly found cohesion and understanding will however be put into a stern test when they come up against the Ivory Coast on Sunday.

And Grant says it will be a battle between two teams who desperately want to win.

“For me it will be battle. Ivory Coast is a good side with very good players I mean if you have Kalou on the bench it tells a lot about your side,’’ Grant said

“But we are a developing side and it is showing in every game.”

“It will be tough game for us but it will be tough for them too.

“We have one more game and we want to win it.”

My friend you need an effective strategy to neutralize the effects of yaya in midfield, bony and gervinho upfront. ..these guys read games well...can soak pressure and know when to act.

Ghanaians like you (jarto n ken) talk shit because you are illiterate, but Ghanaians like me make constructive suggestions which are meant for positive results. If i say we need an effective strategy, it is not to say the coach doesn't have a strategy but we need one that can nullify the effects of those dangerous Ivorians if we want to win. Ultimately my desire is to see ghana win on Sunday. That's why i send my suggestions
