Adebayo Adeleye bids Hapoel Jerusalem farewell after 6 years

Nigeria Goalkeeper, Adebayo Adeleye has bid farewell to Hapoel Jerusalem after six years with the club, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles goalie took to his X page to pen down an appreciatory message to the Israeli club.

"A big thank you to hapoel Jerusalem for your supports and motivations, good 6 years with the club wasn’t a waste thanks for encouraging me to keep striving for the best you’ll Forever remain in my heart ?? ? @HapoelJLMfc"

The shot stopper will not be renewing his contract with the club which was suppose to end by 30 June.

Adeleye is reported to be joining Enosis Neon Paralimniou FC in the Cypriot second division as a free agent.

The former Nigeria U-17 goalkeeper helped Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem gained promotion to the Israeli Premier League in 2021 with their 2-0 win in the promotion playoffs against Sekzia Ness Ziona.
