Adam Larsen Kwarasey became the first goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet on Major League Soccer debut.

The Ghana International made two saves on the evening as Portland Timbers drew 0-0 with rivals Real Salt Lake at Providence Park.

He also had a commanding presence on free kicks and counterattacks.

Kwarasey has also become the seventh goalkeeper in Timbers history (all eras) to record a shutout in his club debut.

This is a funny picture!! However, this is the tradition of the Portland team. They always cut a slice of timber during their home games.
