Fiorentina attacking midfielder Matias Fernandez has completed a move to fellow Serie A side AC Milan on loan with a possible purchase.
The 30-year-old joined La Viola in 2012 from Spanish club Villarreal and scored seven times in 131 games for them, with 22 appearances coming in Serie A last season.
As announced on the Rossoneri’s official website, the Fernandez has completed a move to Milan initially on loan, with his contract including a clause that will give the Diavolo a the choice to sign the Chilean international at the end of his loan spell should they wish to.
La Gazzetta dello Sport also reports that the figures involved are €500,000 for the loan, with a purchase price set at €1m.
Before moving to Italy, Fernandez played for Colo-Colo in the Chilean Primera Division.
